Do you ever come across a photo that brings back tons of memories? Well..here you go. Ibex hunting in the Florida Mountains of New Mexico is likely the "Toughest Hunt in the Lower 48!" The mountain range isn't exactly big, but the prominence rating is impressive. The cliffs, the lions, the snakes, the cacti, the rocks...and the steeps all contribute to why this place is certainly tough. It's almost as if this range was designed to protect itself. Anyway, here are a few memories of hunts I've been fortunate enough to experience. And, if you've been there and got one, I'd love to see the photos.
