We are very proud to announce that “Ghosts of the Gila” was a resounding success and we here at American Heritage have received tremendous feedback from our viewers. The Sportsman Channel was also pleased with the production and we will work very hard to get better from here. Add a cinematic layer to a reality based storyline and our formula seems to be pretty evident but we don’t believe for a second that we have it all figured out.
“Ghosts of the Gila” is a precursor to “One Ghost Down” which you will not want to miss. “One Ghost Down” is about my brother Jeff and I as we hunt elk in the Gila National Forest. We end up having a difficult time getting close enough to capture the elk on video, much less shooting them with our bows. As a novice hunt-film team, we were worried about not being able to get it done. We found out about the tragic death of our uncle, as well, which added a whole other dynamic emotion to our dream to build this show. In the end, Jeff might have just outdone his older brother so stay tuned.

As a cord-cutter, I’d like to see your episodes available on iTunes.
I am exploring all sorts of ways to make them available. The network requires a 6 month hold in order to not hurt the market but after that…maybe. Seems like a good idea to me.
